50 Years In the Media

In the ‘80s and the ‘90s, I was branded as the bridge needed to reunite Vietnam and the USA – to cross together and share a new language. Oliver Stone, Stirling Silliphant and I co-founded a New York 501 C 3, non-profit organization to make films for peace, Indochina Film Arts Foundation (IFAF). From Hollywood to Hanoi (originally titled Journey Home) provided that bridge. Senator John Kerry showcased the film in the Halls of Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. I’ve shown the film and lectured at Harvard, Yale, Colombia, NYU, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Dartmouth, Tulane University, and more.
